But my understanding is that you can not get quality support and piece of software by paying nothing. At least at the end of the day you can say that you have PURCHASED this software to work. I am not against to free software applications but my personal experience is that free s/w applications [most of the time] lack either in functionality or stability to become a toll which one may use for life-time.We are moving forward with ehcp. Designing new features, new concepts. Now, I am working hard on multi-server concepts, with the idea helps of securitywonks and other friends/sponsors. With multi server ehcp, you will be able to control multiple web/dns servers from one single point, effectively. At the same time, I am trying to shape ehcp to be more structured both coding and team. So, I am now looking for some people to be responsible/head/executive for specific tasks of ehcp. They will coordinate accordingly tasks.

The cPanel provides statistics facilities that enable a website owner to analyze the total amount of traffic. Most of the web hosting providers believe that the statistics programs consume a lot of resources on a shared environment and hence tend to eliminate this facility.
