I do not own the server but I have heard ConfigServer Security and Firewall is one on the good firewalls.

I have experience with APF and CSF but I suggest to use ConfigServer Security and Firewall and it has many options then APF.

Various answers here. Some firewalls (Linux) come with a web server, others just run on separate PC's.
Check out Distrowatch.com for the various firewalls. Some like Endian and ClarkConnect come with web servers embedded. Others like IPCop and Monowall are basic firewalls/routers.

But csf does not get embedded with ddos script

The ddos_deflate scripts works with only apf that the major drawback.

We have very good experience with CSF after switching from APF. It integrates with WHM nicely and there's new minor update release from time to time.
