Hi,

I have configured the daily, weekly and monthly backup in WHM and it is taking the backup regularly. I have recently found that some of the files are not taken in the backup and I am uncertain why they are not taken. Did anyone face the same problem ?

Thanks,

Ramesh

Make sure the ownership of the files are user:user not root:root. If they are root owned files then they will not be taken in cPanel Backup.

I had problem with one the domain. It was not taking all the files in backup and after investigating we had found it was due to incorrect permissions.

Thanks for sharing your experience. This certainly helps to others who are facing the similar problem in cPanel backup.
