Hi,

I have recently transferred my vbulltin forum from one subdomain to another subdomain. I have restored database and files and everything is working fine except admin login panel.

I am able to login to admin panel but it is redirecting to login page again. I had changed the URL in vbulletin from admin panel before transferring it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

You can try the below steps to fix the problem. You will need the access to your database using some software like PHPMyAdmin.

- Select your vBulletin Database.
- Go to 'Setting' table.
- Search for 'cookie%' in the Setting table.
- Check the value for cookiedomain and cookiepath.

Set the value for cookiedomain to blank. The cookiepath should / .

Now, check for datastore table.
- Go to 'datastore' table.
- Click 'browse' and find the Options field.
- Click 'Edit' and copy/paste the contents of 'data' to a text editor.
- 'Find' 'cookie' and check the settings for the cookiedomain and cookiepath.
- Edit the settings.
- Copy entire contents back to the data field and save.

Now, you should be able to login to your admin panel.
